The Beginning of a New Life: Mastering the Art of Letting Go

Letting go of the past can really give you a peace of mind.  Holding on to what was or what never happen can hold you back.  Those things will have you living in fear, stuck in a rut, anxious and lacking inspiration.  If you  feel like you are not moving towards something better. Its time to consciously look at your life. Lets see if these tips can improve your outlook on how you think and propel you to move forward.

Reevaluate Your Life:

Think about where you’re at in life. Are you in a space for growth? Is there something you would like to pursue? Are you happy with your personal and professional life? These are the questions you need to ask yourself.  Once you find an answer write it down, set some goals, and start the process of moving in new beginnings.

Practice Discipline:

Are we talking about practice. Yes! the more you practice the better we get. Good habits help you develop discipline. Discipline is essential to tackling that list of goals you have written down. Consistency is key.  Imagine all the things you have on your heart. Things you want to manifest into your reality. Living the life you choose, exposes you to a freedom beyond your wildest dream.

Power in Words:

Speak life into yourself and the people around you. Speak positivity about yourself and the things you want to accomplish. Prayer is a great way to start the process.  For me prayer is a conversation between me and the creator.   Whatever it is you are hoping for, pray and get to work. (Proverbs 18-21) “Death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof”.

Everyone has a starting point. I hope this helps you take a leap of faith and push you to live your best life.  Remove those barriers you placed around yourself and become the creator of your own life. I am not saying it will be easy, but it will be worth it.  Affirm this:

“I am the master of my fate and the captain of my soul”
